Go back in time with me to this 1852 ante-bellum home. Entering the front porch with its four square white columns with filigree trim the beauty of the house is enhanced with the perfectly balanced front window and double wooden front doors, through which we enter the foyer. On the left are the bedrooms with connecting baths. On the right is the parlor with its fireplace at one end. The dining room has a row of windows facing the east. The rooms have impressive 14 foot plaster walls, woodwork and beautiful hardwood floors. The fireplace located in the kitchen adds a comfortable reminder of days gone by. As one passes from one room to another, there's a feeling that this old ante-bellum house, built nearly 170 years ago has been loved and cared for by every family who lived within its walls.
