The building underwent a $100 million renovation in 2005 and is now a luxury hotel and residence managed by Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces. In addition to maintenance, shareholders pays a monthly capital contribution fee of $1,254.30 and there is a 2% flip tax payable by the purchaser.
